What is Yogamamas Mommy & Me Yoga?

 

After having your little one, introducing them to your mindfulness practice establishes a beautiful connection between mother and child. Yogamamas Mommy & Me Yoga provides new moms the opportunity to regain strength, initiate confidence and alleviate neck, shoulder, and back pain through gentle modified yoga postures. Unlike other methods of yoga, doing postnatal yoga with your baby is a unique and special experience. This program was designed to foster a mindful connection between you and your baby. In this class, you will help your baby perform simple stretches to engage and stimulate their minds.

 

This class is designed for pre-crawlers and is a simple way to ease your new parent jitters while also connecting with yourself and your baby. After giving birth, it’s important to stretch those muscles that have changed and evolved over the past 9 months, providing the opportunity to nourish and care for your body through focused stretches and mindful breathing exercises. Work on bonding with your baby while simultaneously maintaining your connection and presence with yourself.
